'Ackson on capacity building as Parliament seats Monday'

Speaking on behalf of Speaker Job Ndugai at a workshop on the roles of legislators in undertaking their roles, Dr Ackson said such training was crucial in building capacity of Members of Parliament (MPs), especially those from the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), the Public Investments Committee (PIC), the Local Authorities Accounts Committee (LAAC) and the Budget Committee.
Organized by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the training designed to suit MPs is aimed at training them on various topics including preparation, analysis and follow up of budget implementation.
